Thursday, May 8

Today is the first day of the rest of my life, it is also the first day I am experimenting with blogging. We'll see how it goes. We'll start out with the weekend of Sunday May 4th. Ada's Dada and a circle of close friends held Ada's in thier arms and gave her a name and a blessing. We were at the San Marcos Branch so hopefully everyone had thier headphones on to hear the translation. Grandmas and Grandpas and Aunts and uncles were there. 4 generations of Higbees with an Agüin right at the end. Kristen and Janessa met Ada for the first time. Then after the meeting lots of people came over for a little food. Ailee, who is 11, was the official photographer. And it's nice to let pictures tell their own stories. If it weren't for her we probably wouldn't have many pictures of everything because Mama and Papa were running around like chickens....you know how it goes.

About Me

Chester, UT, United States
I stole an Argentine from his country and made him my husband. Raising 4 kids in Sanpete County, we recently found a 140 year old farm house and made it into a home. El Palenquito is our dream of a micro-farm and market. We've set out to slowly restore life to our neglected plot of ground, including the soil, flora, fauna, and especially the hummingbirds! I love to get dirty making things and put the stuff in my head out on paper.
